The Llama/Alpaca Experience gives you a short walk around the grounds on an hour long tour of our magical oasis. Meet the Fuzz Krew and hear their rescue stories—their journey from neglected and sometimes abused to spoiled on our city farm. Observe our sweet large-eyed herd of spoiled lady llamas and alpacas as they relax in their beautiful, reclaimed barn or the exotic old growth bamboo forest. Learn about the history of the camelid species, their surprising place of origin, and how we came to have them. We will also explore some of our structures (crafted of reclaimed architectural parts, vintage wood, stained glass). We will check out the magic of 1940s giant bamboo forest and peek at the famous Atlanta Alpaca Treehouse from the ground (we usually have guests staying in it). We will talk about some of our television shows, commercials, wedding, and other cool happenings on the grounds.

At the end, we will feed the herd baby organic carrots, take selfies, get a chance to see our small gift shoppe, and bond with intelligent “pasture dolphins.” You’ll fall in love with these sensitive, spiritual, curious fuzzy beings. Wine Tasting with Llamas, Alpacas, & Guanacos!

Oh my! There are some things that just need to combined and this is one of those magical combinations! Wine + llamas + alpacas + guanacos right here on our beautiful little city farm in the bamboo forest! Come sample 7 delicious organic, vegan wines from Sip South! You’ll have the option to purchase a glass or bottles. We will have alpaca/llama merch, local honey from our honeybees, artisan made pottery, and face painting for kids. Time is 12-5 but it’s open house style: come early or come late. Stay an hour, stay for 5 hours! Super Flexible!

Llama Yoga

Llama Yoga classes are highly popular and held by our fabulous, zen expert yoga instructors in the light-filled reclaimed Bamboo Barn. Figgy, our spotty rock star llama—and even sometimes Queen Dali or Llyra—venture right into the barn to assist the instructors with the class. Llama Yoga was featured on Netflix’s “The World’s Most Amazing Vacation Rentals” starring our own Figgy Llama, Luis Ortiz, Jo Franco, and Megan Batoon (and our own Lanise Shortell!).
